Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Indicted on Five Federal Counts, Including Sex Trafficking and Racketeering

Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been slapped with an expanded federal indictment charging him with five criminal counts – including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution.

Filed Friday in Manhattan federal court, the new federal indictment intensifies the legal battle facing Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, just one month before his scheduled May 5 trial. It builds on a previous three-count case, bringing additional accusations tied to a broader alleged pattern of abuse stretching from 2004 to 2024.

Prosecutors now claim Combs orchestrated a sprawling criminal operation using his entertainment empire as a cover. The indictment alleges that women were coerced into filmed sexual acts called “freak offs,” sometimes involving male sex workers transported across state lines.

One key change: Combs now faces separate counts for transporting two alleged victims – “Victim-1” and “Victim-2” – for illegal sex acts. A third woman, “Victim-3,” is named as part of the racketeering conspiracy.

The indictment also references a 2016 incident, previously shown on surveillance video, where Combs was seen kicking and throwing objects at a woman in a Los Angeles hotel. CNN aired the footage last year, sparking widespread backlash.

Combs has denied all allegations. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, insists that any sexual activity was consensual, characterizing the new charges as an overreach. “Diddy never forced anyone to do anything against their will,” Agnifilo said.

But prosecutors maintain that the charges represent years of systematic abuse hidden behind fame and fortune. If convicted, Combs could face decades in prison.

He is currently being held in a Brooklyn detention facility and has also been named in multiple civil suits related to sexual misconduct.

The trial remains set for May 5, 2025, in Manhattan federal court. Stay tuned for updates as the case unfolds.
