In a statement to Page Six, Gleb said, “I was surprised to learn through articles published today that Brooks has ended our relationship.” Brutal. He even revealed the last message he got from her was on April 6 – a simple text asking to talk. He called her after the articles came out, but she hasn’t responded. Oof.
Gleb says the last time he saw Brooks in person was just a week before that, on March 31 and April 1, when he flew to New York to support her business ventures. He didn’t mention any signs of trouble then – in fact, everything seemed perfectly normal. She was reportedly sad to see him go when he had to head back to L.A. for the end of his four-month DWTS tour.
But it gets juicier. Gleb even filmed an episode for Brooks’ upcoming reality show with her sisters – Mary Holland, Grace Ann, and Sarah Jane – which makes the sudden silence and breakup news even more confusing. “I’m still processing everything,” he admitted, “and while I don’t have all the answers, I wish Brooks the best moving forward.” Smooth, classy, but you can tell he’s a little blindsided.
