David Guetta is always up to unique collaborations and while this is not his first track with Afrojack, this hip hopesque release of ‘Trampoline’ featuring Missy Elliot, BIA and Doechii is not what we’ve come to expect from either of these two EDM stars.
With all the makings of a major hit, the upbeat track that was released earlier this month, and is now accompanied by a just as funky official music video. On a trip through the Big Apple, and its staples, a Laundromat, a deli, and of course the unmissable NYC subway system, the video has been directed by Katie Paul.
While the lyrics go, “If Guetta made it then it’s a hit” it couldn’t be said better. Unline any of their previous collaborations, the track showcases both Guetta and Afrojack’s prolific production skills but is leveled up by the addition of powerful vocals by Missy Elliot, Bia, and Doechii. Their latest release prior to this earned the duo a Grammy Nomination for ‘Hero’ which featured vocals by Luxtides.
The track is available across streaming platforms and is sure to pack dance floors as events slowly begin to resurface with the return of major festivals, being kicked off with Ultra Music Festival in Miami in just a matter of weeks now.
