Katy Perry’s “Heaven-Sent” Signs Before Space Launch: “There Are No Coincidences”

Katy Perry is officially prepped for a space launch – and she’s got the universe’s full approval, according to her.

The ‘Firework’ hitmaker is days away from taking her first ride to space with Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin crew – but ahead of lift-off, she claims she’s received “confirmations from the heavens” that the journey is divinely guided.

In a now-viral Instagram video, Katy Perry shared that the capsule she’ll be traveling in is shaped like a feather – one of her lifelong nicknames from her mom. And just when you think it couldn’t get more poetic, the capsule’s name? Tortoise. Another of her mom’s nicknames for her. We’re not making this up.

“There are no coincidences,” Katy said, with her usual mystic flair. “I’m just so grateful that I feel like something bigger than me is steering the ship.”

Katy’s not going solo on this intergalactic adventure. She’s part of an all-female crew that includes journalist Gayle King and Lauren Sanchez, fiancée of Jeff Bezos and a licensed pilot herself. The Blue Origin flight is scheduled to lift off from the West Texas desert as part of the New Shepard program.

Gayle King, who admitted she’s “terrified and excited” in equal measure, likened the anxiety to “how I felt before delivering a baby.” Comforting? Not quite. Relatable? Maybe.

Here’s where it gets extra cosmic. Katy’s message was all about alignment – from feathers to tortoises to gut feelings.

“I’m always looking for little confirmations from the heavens… and this? It’s loud.”

In the video, she reflected on how simulations were done in a different capsule, and she didn’t know the name of the real one until just before the reveal. “A wave shot through my body,” she said when she heard the name Tortoise.

It’s giving cosmic serendipity meets high-tech launch. While skeptics may raise an eyebrow, fans are all in, flooding her comments with messages like “The universe literally speaks to you,” and “Go, Feather!”

This Blue Origin launch isn’t just a space mission – it’s a celestial moment. And Katy Perry? She’s not just going to space. She’s soaring with meaning.
