Julia Fox has officially had enough, and she’s not sugarcoating anything.
The Uncut Gems star just went off on TikTok, slamming her ex-husband Peter Artemiev for secretly baptising their four-year-old son Valentino without telling her. The actress and model shared the story in full detail, and she didn’t hold back on her message to other women: “Don’t have a child with a loser.”
According to Julia Fox, the way she even found out about the baptism was wild. She ran into Peter at their son’s school performance, and after the event, he casually pointed out a nearby church and said, “Oh, this is where Valentino was baptised.” Just like that. No prior heads-up, no invite, nothing.
Julia’s reaction? Pure disbelief.
She asked him why she wasn’t invited, and Peter reportedly said she was invited and just didn’t want to go. Julia shut that down immediately, saying, “Absolutely not. If I was invited, I would remember. If I wasn’t, I would at least have a photo. Nobody told me anything.”
That moment sent her spiraling back to their past, she described it as being “gaslighted over and over,” where she’d be made to feel like the bad guy until she finally snapped, only to be called abusive.
Still trying to make sense of it all, she called Peter’s mom. The grandmother’s explanation? The baptism was a “Russian Orthodox thing” and only Russian Orthodox people could attend. Julia wasn’t buying it. “Don’t gaslight me,” she said. “I’m this child’s mother. You are not.”
And when Peter’s mom doubled down, saying she thought Julia “didn’t care,” Julia lost it. “I’ve been raising this child alone for four years,” she said. “I take him on every job with me. And you think I don’t care? Your son doesn’t care.”
Julia made it clear she wasn’t looking to block family access or play games. “I don’t operate like that,” she said. But she also made sure her message was loud and crystal clear: who you have a child with matters. A lot.
“This is the kind of stuff you can’t make up,” she added. “These people are f—— animals.”
Peter, on his end, told People that the whole thing was exaggerated. He claimed his mom did call Julia to ask about baptising Valentino last year, and that Julia replied, “I don’t care about religion. If you want to baptise him, baptise him.”
So, it’s a classic he said, she said. But one thing’s for sure, Julia’s not letting this slide quietly.
