Marvel Rivals Season 2 is officially going live on April 11, and there’s a lot packed into this next chapter, new hero, fresh map, gameplay changes, and a full ranked reset. But first, expect a little downtime.
When Do Marvel Rivals Servers Go Offline?
Servers will go offline for maintenance at 2:00 AM PDT on April 11. That’s:

- 10:00 AM BST (UK)
- 11:00 AM CET
- 6:00 PM JST
The expected downtime is 2 to 3 hours, so you’re looking at servers coming back online around:

What’s Coming in Season 2?
- New Hero: Emma Frost (Vanguard) – Telekinetic powers, diamond form, and a brutal environmental-pull ultimate. Available at launch.

- Buffs: Peni Parker, Scarlet Witch, and Mr. Fantastic are getting significant upgrades.
- Nerfs: Magneto’s “Metallic Chaos” Team-Up is gone.
- New Team-Up: Magneto x Emma Frost holographic decoy move.

- Free Skins: Scarlet Witch’s “Chaos Gown” (play 9 matches) and Namor’s Twitch Drop skin.
- Gifting Feature: Send cosmetics to friends in-game.
- New Shader Option: PC players on lower-spec rigs get improved performance with the new compilation shader system.
