Sabrina Carpenter Takes Over Fortnite Festival With Sweet New Drop

Sabrina Carpenter is making her mark on the gaming world with the arrival of her hit tour in Fortnite Festival. Starting April 8, fans of the Espresso singer can dive into Season 8 of the Fortnite Festival, which now features Carpenter as its headline act.

The update brings two of her standout tracks, “Please Please Please” and “Taste”, from her latest album Short N’ Sweet to the Fortnite Item Shop. Fans can purchase and perform the songs in-game using the Jam Stage mode. But the crossover doesn’t stop there, players can also unlock two themed Sabrina Carpenter outfits, including the fan-favorite tour looks ‘Juno’ and ‘Nonsense’.

In a statement to Rolling Stone, Carpenter shared her excitement: “I’ve always found it exciting for fans to be able to interact and engage with music through different art forms and to interact in a way that’s genuinely fun. So, for the fans that haven’t been able to come to the tour, or to any new fans, this is such a special way to still be a part of the Short N’ Sweet world.”

Epic Games echoed the sentiment in an official blog post, writing: “Global superstar and two-time GRAMMY winner Sabrina Carpenter brings her eccentric brand of pop to Fortnite Festival Season 8.” With Carpenter joining a star-studded list of Fortnite Festival icons like Eminem, Lady Gaga, and Metallica, this season promises to be a vibrant one for both gamers and music lovers.

The Fortnite event comes hot on the heels of Carpenter’s emotional farewell to her European tour leg. After wrapping her final shows in Copenhagen and Stockholm last week, the 25-year-old artist took to Instagram to thank her fans:

“These shows were straight out of my dreams… you were dressed to the nines, covered in kisses and some of the loudest most passionate crowds I’ve ever had the honor to sing for… this leg was one I’ll never forget!”

With the Fortnite collaboration now live, Sabrina Carpenter fans can extend the magic of the Short N’ Sweet tour from arenas to the virtual stage. Whether you missed the tour or want to relive it in digital form, Fortnite Festival is now your ticket in.

Stay tuned for more gaming and music crossovers in our entertainment and tech sections.
