Aaron Rodgers is making headlines again, but this time it’s not about football, it’s about his relationship.
The 41-year-old quarterback just shared a rare update about his dating life on The Pat McAfee Show, and yep, he’s officially off the market.
Rodgers told McAfee during the April 17 episode that he’s now in a “serious relationship” and that it’s totally shifting how he approaches life. “I’m in a different phase of my life,” he said. “I’m 41 years old, I’m in a serious relationship. I have off the field stuff going on that requires my attention.”
He also explained that he’s made personal commitments outside of football, ones he didn’t anticipate when he wrapped up last season with the Jets. The update comes just two months after he was cut from the team, making him a free agent. So while NFL rumors fly, Rodgers is focused on something else, his girlfriend, Brittani.
And no, not Britney Spears, as McAfee joked. “This is Brittani with an ‘i’,” Rodgers clarified. He first dropped her name casually during a December interview on the same show, revealing she doesn’t watch The Pat McAfee Show and doesn’t even have social media. Sounds like she’s way out of the spotlight, which might be exactly what he needs after his very public dating history.
McAfee later teased Rodgers, saying it sounds like he’s “in love,” and Rodgers didn’t deny it. With a grin, he said, “It’s a good feeling boys. It is.” That’s probably the most open we’ve seen him when it comes to relationships.
Before Brittani, Rodgers was linked to model Mallory Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens. And before that, he had a high-profile engagement to Big Little Lies star Shailene Woodley, which ended in 2022. He’s also dated Olivia Munn and Danica Patrick in the past, both relationships that played out in the spotlight.
In fact, Rodgers opened up about that media attention in the Netflix series Aaron Rodgers: Enigma. Reflecting on his exes, he admitted, “I didn’t do myself any favors with some of the girls I dated after that that were in the public eye.”
Now, it seems he’s looking for something different, low-key, grounded, and more private.
