S2O New York 2.0 is officially coming back this summer and it’s turning Brooklyn into a giant splash zone again.
After making waves with its NYC debut last year, the wild Thai New Year water party is back at the iconic Brooklyn Mirage-and it’s bigger, wetter, and louder than ever. Presented by Pulse Events, S2O New York 2.0 is bringing two full days of stacked lineups, insane visuals, and soaking good vibes on July 25 and 26.
Friday’s party features Slander, Dillon Francis, Jauz, Nurko, and Rayray, while Saturday levels up with Major Lazer, Malaa, William Black, Cash Cash, Bonnie x Clyde, and more. So yeah, if you’re looking to beat that NYC heat with a next-level EDM festival that also doubles as a water war, this is your moment.
This isn’t just another electronic music event. S2O is globally known as the “world’s wettest party,” inspired by Thailand’s Songkran celebrations-aka the Thai New Year-which traditionally involves splashing water on each other as a blessing for luck and good fortune. The energy is spiritual, the water is flying, and the music? Absolutely banging.
S2O has already become a mainstay in places like Bangkok, Seoul, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Tokyo. Now, thanks to Pulse Events and their mission to represent Asian and AAPI communities through dance music culture, NYC gets its very own wild edition. These are the same folks who threw two major Spring Festival Lunar New Year raves and brought international acts like Martin Garrix, Seven Lions, Afrojack, EXO, and Big Bang to American audiences. They’re not messing around.
And the venue? It’s the Brooklyn Mirage-but better. The place has gone through a full glow-up and now boasts a 270-degree LED experience with over 100 million pixels and 30K resolution visuals. It’s like entering a VR world where the bass hits hard, and the visuals melt your brain (in a good way). The sound system’s no joke either-over 100 speakers and subs make sure your eardrums are blessed from every angle.
Even the structure itself makes a statement. Towering at 65 feet, the timber-framed design is one of the most sustainable live music spaces in the country. It’s got that operatic drama, but with modern festival grit.
So, if you’re in NYC this July and you’re not at S2O New York 2.0, are you even doing summer right?
Don’t sleep on what could be the wildest weekend of the NYC summer.
